Saint-Gobain Africa and Lagata have entered into a joint venture in Nigeria to manufacture and sell a wide range of construction materials including tile adhesives, combining Saint-Gobain’s recognized technical expertise and Lagata’s proven track-record of Nigerian markets. The manufacturing plant in Nigeria was completed and started operations in September 2023.
Considering Nigeria's status as one of the fastest-growing countries in Africa, the joint venture seeks to seize the opportunity to deliver top-tier international products at compelling prices to meet the needs of the Nigerian market.
The manufacturing and trading company is known as “Saint-Gobain Weber Nigeria Limited” and the products manufactured are sold under “Weber” brand.
